The cyclone separator is a dry gas-solid separation device that uses the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the gas-solid mixture to separate the dust from the airflow. Since the centrifugal force on the particles is much greater than the gravity and inertia, the airflow will change from linear motion to circular motion. Most of the rotating airflow flows downward from the cylinder to the cone along the wall of the device in a spiral shape.
In addition, the particles are thrown toward the wall of the device under the action of centrifugal force. Once the dust particles contact the wall of the device, they lose their inertia and fall along the wall with the momentum of the downward axial velocity near the wall. After falling, a vacuum is formed at the bottom and falls into the collection bucket from the powder outlet.
The cyclone separator is suitable for the collection of large amounts of dust and fine dust, such as floor grinding, cement plants, shot blasting, chemical plant dust, large amounts of dust collection and other harsh environments.
